Cystitis

Frequently passing urine which stings or burns suggests cystitis, which is sometimes caused by infection.

Our Advice:

  • If drinking plenty of fluids, including bicarbonate of soda (one teaspoon per glass of water, four times daily) does not relieve symptoms call the surgery for further advice.
  • If an appointment is arranged please bring a urine sample with you. This can be done at the surgery prior to your appointment if you request a urine specimen bottle.
