Alcohol Consumption ScreeningIt is a government priority to address the issue of
illness associated with increasing alcohol consumption and
reducing alcohol related hospital admissions is now a
measure of performance for the NHS.
Chronic DiseaseThe practice provides planned care for those with Diabetes, Asthma, Heart disease and Hypertension (raised blood pressure). Please see the doctor who will advise on the most appropriate service.
Common Illness Clinic
From May 2009 one of our nurses, Caitlin Williams runs a
clinic each morning. You can speak to her from 8.30am –
10.00am and her clinic starts at 10.15am. Please see posters

HERE Counselling
The practice has a visiting psychologist and two qualified
counsellors, who have sessions each week.
The doctor will assess if either of these services are
suitable for you. Dietician
A community-based dietician holds a monthly clinic, for
those, referred by doctors, who require specialist
dietetic advice. Minor SurgeryThis is provided by the practice; please see the doctor
first. Minor InjuriesWe are able to assess, advise and offer treatment for minor
injuries. IUD FittingWe are able to carry out IUD fitting and checks; please
speak to Dr Nicholas first. Non-NHS ServicesThe NHS does not cover non-medical services such as insurance medicals, medicals for HGV (and other) licenses, pre-employment and fitness to travel examinations. We are happy to provide this service to all our patients whether registered with the Surgery or not. There is however, a fee payable in accordance with British Medical Association guidelines.
