Surgery Opening hours & Consultation Times
We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm and offer appointments
between 8.30am and 5.20pm.
How to see a Doctor or Nurse
The practice operates a full appointment system.
Appointments may be made by calling in person at reception or by
telephone during the surgery opening hours. We try to offer
appointments with the doctor of your choice on the day of your
choice. We make every effort to run on time but sometimes there
is an emergency that the doctor or nurse has to deal with. We do
ask for your patience & understanding in these circumstances.
About 60% of our appointments are available to be ‘booked on the
day’ and the rest can be booked 4-5 weeks in advance. Please
telephone in the morning if you wish to be seen that day. Our
receptionists may ask you the nature of your problem in order to
offer you the most appropriate appointment. They do understand
if you do not wish to disclose the reason for your visit. We
expect that all members of staff are treated with the same
courtesy with which you would like to be treated yourself. We
expect you to arrive in time for your appointments and to cancel
your appointment in good time if you cannot keep it or no longer
need it.

Telephone Advice
The clinical team may advise on simple illnesses over the
telephone. If you need to speak to someone please call as early
as possible to allow time for a doctor or nurse to return your
call in case it is necessary to book you an afternoon
appointment.
Consultations
All patients are welcome to consult a doctor or nurse according
to the procedures set out in our leaflet. We are also obliged
by our contract with Cambridgeshire PCT to provide
consultations for all new patients, patients between 16 and 74
who have not seen us in the last 3 years and those over 75 years
old who have not seen us in the last 12 months if requested.
